Meet Dr. Stern

Board Certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon

Dental School: New York University College of Dentistry

Residency: New York Medical College, New York Hospital Medical Center of Queens

Dr. Stern was born in Canada and grew up in the Midwest before moving to New York for college. He attended NYU College of Dentistry on a full Dean’s Academic Scholarship and was inducted into the National Dental Honor Society (OKU) upon graduation.

Dr. Stern completed a General Practice residency at New York Hospital Queens and his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at New York Medical College based in Westchester Medical Center. Following residency Dr. Stern joined the hospital based practice at The Brooklyn Hospital Center where he managed complex surgical cases and taught oral surgery residents.

Dr. Stern is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and maintains hospital admitting privileges at Brooklyn Hospital.

As much as surgery is his passion, Dr. Stern also enjoys spending time educating his patients, catering treatment to everyone’s needs and making sure that they are comfortable with their treatment plan decisions.

Dr. Stern lives in Long Island with his wife and four children and enjoys spending time with them outdoors cycling, hiking and camping.
